Rowntree launches new Crowdfunding campaign to raise £100,000

We’re excited to share that Rowntree Equine Therapy has launched a new crowdfunding campaign on Crowdfunder, with a bold vision: to build a purpose-built, fully accessible equine therapy centre in Nottingham where disabled people can experience the healing power of horses.
Why this matters?
Our community currently lacks safe, inclusive equine-therapy facilities for users with physical limitations, wheelchair users and people with complex needs. Our waiting lists are too long and the spaces too few. The new centre will help meet that urgent need.
What we’re building
With your support we will create:
A 10-12 stable yard built to veterinary standards.
An accessible riding arena, mounting blocks and adaptive tack for riders with physical limitations.
Indoor therapy and education rooms for workshops, training and complementary wellbeing activities.All designed to set a new benchmark for inclusive equine-therapy in the UK.

Our crowdfunding target is £100,000, and while we’re just getting started, every donation — big or small — counts. Your support will help us purchase the critical infrastructure and equipment needed to serve hundreds of individuals every year, reduce health inequalities and combat social isolation.
What’s next?
Once the centre is built we’ll be able to open up equine-therapy sessions, wellbeing workshops and educational programmes that might otherwise be inaccessible to many in our community. With your help we can make this a reality.
